Hello Brothers and Sisters in Christ! Today is the Feast of St. Stephen, the first Catholic King of Hungary. He was a man who gave himself wholeheartedly to the cause of Christ and His Holy Church. His wife and son, St. Gisela and St. Emmerich, are also recognized as saints of the Church.
I will be on a three month sabbatical in Europe from the middle of August until the middle of November, 2025. Please know that you all will be in my prayers as I visit churches and shrines of France, walk the Camino, and visit more churches and shrines in Spain and Portugal. Please keep me in your prayers, that this will be a blessed time of reflection and spiritual renewal. I have had 28 good years as a Fathers of Mercy missionary priest, and 20 years working in Rachel’s Vineyard, helping people find healing from the wounds of abortion. I’m hoping that this spiritual recharge will have me ready for the next 28 years (which would take me into my 80s)!
God bless every one of you!
