New Prayer Partners: Have you ever heard of Mystic Monk Coffee?

April 28, 2018 by Fr. Ben Cameron Leave a Comment

We are pleased to announce that the Confraternity of Our Lady of Mercy has a new Prayer Partner community:  the Carmelite Monks of Wyoming!  Yes, these are the same monks who roast and sell “Mystic Monk Coffee”!

The founder of the community, Fr. Daniel Mary Schneider, was a good friend of mine at Holy Apostles Seminary (Cromwell, CT), and I recently had the opportunity to visit with him at his monastery outside of Cody, Wyoming (I was giving a parish mission at St. Barbara’s Church in Powell, Wyoming).  We had a wonderful visit, and I was honored to meet five of the other monks at the end of my visit with “Father Prior,” as he is known in their community.

The Carmelite Monks said that they consider it an honor to be prayer partners with all of you, and to accompany you in your journey of seeking holiness!  Please pray for them, and maybe think of them as your special brothers when you sip your Mystic Monk coffee!
