Healing the Deepest Wounds: A Pastoral Guide to Abortion, Trauma and Grief has been a labor of love for the past year. I hope that it will help many people to find the healing that Our Lord Jesus wants to give them from the spiritual and emotional wounds of abortion.
When I started the book, it was intended to be a concise guide for Catholic priests, Protestant ministers, and those working in lay ministry, to help them be better equipped to assist those suffering from abortion loss. But as it developed, I realized that this book could be a good resource for anyone who has a family member, friend, co-worker, or acquaintance who is suffering from abortion wounds. During the publication process, a post-abortive father read it, and found it to be helpful for his own healing journey.
